2012 Mercedes Benz Driving Experience in Santo Domingo
Tuesday, February 21st, 2012RENNtech was pleased to be on hand for the 2012 Mercedes Benz Driving Experience- Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic this past weekend.
Hosted by the local Mercedes Benz Dealership and RENNtech partner in the Dominican Republic, Autozama, the event catered to more than 200 customers and gave those in attendance a chance to experience the power of AMG through autocross events as well as guided laps and professional driver demonstrations.
RENNtech owner Hartmut Feyhl was on hand along with F1 Safety Car Driver Bernd Maylander, RJ Lopez and Antonio Imbert as special driving instructors for the event.
The event also served to introduce the all new Mercedes C63 Coupe and guests were given test rides as well as on track demonstrations of the latest AMG. Other vehicles included nearly a dozen RENNtech modified vehicles including a tuned CLS 63 Biturbo with a RENNtech differential, SLS Gullwing’s, C63′s and a RENNtech fully modified SLR.

One Hundred Tuning Club’s C74 @ 2011 China International Automotive Aftermarket Show
Monday, September 19th, 2011The RENNtech wide body C74 package made its appearance at the 2011 China (Guangzhou) International Automotive Aftermarket Show. The 2011 CIAAS is the largest automotive product trade show in China and was hosted this year at the Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo September 15th-17th. This show is the equivalent to the SEMA show in the United States and plays host each year to well over 60,000 spectators from across the globe.The One Hundred Tuning Club’s C74 Widebody was displayed in the 360 Forged Wheels booth during the event.
The vehicle started life as a 2010 C63 and was transformed via the full RENNtech C74 wide body exterior package as well as a host of other performance upgrades. “The (final) result is nothing short of spectacular, and I am extremely pleased! I want to thank you and your company for producing a superb product” said Gary Z . at One Hundred Tuning Club, a high end and luxury vehicle tuner based in Bejing, China.

Russian Missile
Friday, July 8th, 2011The RENNtech c63 widebody conversion kit has generated quite a lot of interest and both at home here in the US and abroad. Our DTM inspired C63 aero kit has also taken overseas by storm and was just recently installed on yet another customers C63 in Russia; transforming it into an aggressive, wide bodied missile.
Our C63 widebody components boast bold styling, refined aerodynamics, increased down force and improved handling thanks to the increase in overall vehicle track width. This combination increases the overall vehicle rear track width to 74” and allows for the ability to run up to an 11” wide rear wheel with a 315 series tire for the ultimate in handling and traction.

Akrapovic C63 Titanium Exhaust
Friday, November 19th, 2010We have just finished our in house install on our C74 project car with the latest full titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic and are delighted to say that the exhaust truly exceeded our expectations in both quality and performance. It’s fit and finish were top notch and the exhaust note is amazing. It has a deep growl and rich tonal qualities which are completely unique to it’s titanium construction. The resulting sound is much deeper when compared to a similar system in stainless steel. Below is an installed picture as well as a video to judge for yourself.
Exhausts systems are going fast as we have already sold two and are the only dealer who has sold or installed one of these systems. C63 STANDING MILE RESULTS!

This past weekend RENNTECH participated in a Standing Mile event at the Dade-Collier airstrip. There was a fairly decent turnout and our tuned C63 drew all sorts of attention. Last week, we fabricated some unique aero enhancements in-house for this event. These exterior additions bumped the cars standing mile speed up nearly 9mph – 185MPH! Proving that aerodynamics has just as much an effect on a vehicles ability to “go fast” as its actual performance output. Here are a few pics and a video of the C63 in “standing-mile trim”.
DYSFUNCTIONAL DUO – BURNOUTS!

One vehicle is Hartmut Feyhl’s, owner of RENNTECH, very own C63. The other vehicle, a highly modded CL65, is owned by one of our great customers.
This video shoot was a celebratory shoot in that we had just set two quarter mile world records in each vehicle a few weeks prior.
